A 21-year-old Honda Accord Euro R, quite a rarity even on its domestic market of Japan, is available in the UK now with a touch under 154,000 kilometers (95,000 miles) on the odo and an asking price of £10,000.
The special edition is a spinoff of a Japanese Accord Mk.6, which sports a different exterior compared to its European counterpart. The body kit is rather restrained and includes elaborate bumper add-ons, a rear wing, side sill extensions, and fender flares. Euro R badges can be found at the rear end, the front fenders, and the radiator grille. The body wears a pearlescent white finish.
Power comes from an H22A-series inline-four engine boosted to 220 PS (217 hp / 162 kW), unlockable starting from 7,200 RPM. A five-speed manual transmission drives the front axle, and a Torsen differential ensures faster acceleration. Suspension and exhaust enjoy their share of improvements, too.
The seller claims the car is in near-ideal condition, having been recently maintained. Found in the cabin are Recaro sport seats draped in combination upholstery, a Momo steering wheel, and an aluminum gear lever knob. The trim specification mentions climate control, two airbags, and Xenon headlamps.
