11th-gen Honda Accord appears on the first photos

Honda has published three new photos of the eleventh-generation Accord sedan. The car, which is larger and sportier-looking than its predecessor, is set to debut in November.

As you can see, the main additions inside are a digital dashboard and a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Google Services support. A small rotary knob above the display could be the volume knob.

A glance at the front end reveals a hexagonal radiator grille, narrow LED headlights, and a bumper with a wide air intake. The taillights at the rear end now span its entire width. As for the entire car, it was first revealed via patent shots this July – you can find them at the end of our gallery here.

It is still unclear what engines the new Accord will receive. The current generation (see video) is available with a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine rated at 192 PS (190 hp / 142 kW), its larger 2.0-liter alternative capable of 252 PS (248 hp / 188 kW), and a petrol-electric hybrid good for 212 PS (209 hp / 156 kW). For the transmission, buyers can choose between nine-speed A/T and CVT.
