A homegrown replica of a 1965 Ford Mustang is up for grabs in the U.S. state of Missouri right now for a modest asking price of $15,000.
The build is based on a 2005 Honda Accord and is being touted by its seller as being ‘the most reliable Ford’ and ‘the most beautiful Honda’ ever. The listing comes with a large number of photos detailing the creation process and providing a good look at the result. But while the body looks decent, the interior has certainly seen better days.
The Accord donates its chassis, 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine, automatic transmission and most of the cabin to the project. The door panels are the only thing that the author replaced in order to create a similarity with the Mustang.
As for the doors, the side windows, the bumpers and the taillights, they seem to have been sourced from a genuine Ford muscle car. You can still see how far off the proportions are, despite the fact that the author of the build made active use of custom bodywork.
