Honda Civic hatchback gets a facelift in the USA

A year after revealing the facelifted Honda Civic sedan/saloon and coupe, the Japanese manufacturer finally followed suit with the hatchback model, giving it pretty much the same treatment.

The facelifted series premiered in the USA with redesigned bumpers, black-bedded headlights, and a new wheel set. Higher trims additionally got LED headlights.

The cabin was also overhauled, reportedly with better finishing materials and noise insulation now covering the entire floor, wheel arches, and trunk area. That, and the central cup holder is also new.
Options still include multimedia and driver aids.

Customers in the USA may grab their Honda Civic hatchback with a 1.5-liter turbo-four engine rated at 176 hp (131 kW) in the standard trim and 182 hp (136 kW) in the Sport and Sport Touring trims. The transmission is CVT by default, but you may opt for six-speed manual if you like to drive stick. Furthermore, this option is now also available for the Sport Touring.

Prices range between U.S. $21,650 and $28,850.
