The latest iteration of the Honda Civic hatchback came out two years ago and received a facelift in the United States this summer, with Europe to follow soon.
Exterior changes are kept to a minimum: slightly renewed bumpers, different wheels, new Blue Obsidian paintjob, and LED headlights in all trim levels – this would be the entire list. Inside, the trimming materials are new, and the infotainment system now boasts a redesigned interface. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are both supported, and the driver’s seat packs eight power adjustments.
Engine-wise, the facelift brings nothing new. Customers still have a choice between a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 126 hp (94 kW), its 1.5-liter counterpart with 182 hp (136 kW) at the crank, and a 1.6-liter turbo diesel with 120 hp (90 kW).
Sales begin in January 2020.
