Honda Civic does its best Aventador impression in India

There are different viewpoints on whether mimicking exotic and luxury cars is right or justified, but there is little debating the fact that the Indian owner of this Civic went out on a limb to make you believe it is a Lambo.

Executive Mod Trendz, from Mumbai, has done something similar with the mid-engined Pontiac Fiero before. This one, however, is no sports car. Instead, it is a mundane 2009 Honda Civic fitted with custom-made trunk and engine lid, as well as authentic-looking headlights and taillights. The body received a coat of matte black paint quite reminiscent of the original Nero Nemesis tint used for the Aventador.

Not content with just the exterior mods, the owner took things further and draped the seats, the dashboard and the steering wheel in orange leather. He also took the pain to stylize the center console after his main source of inspiration. In the end, woefully inadequate body proportions and feeble rollers for wheels are the only two things telling you it ain’t the real thing.
