Honda Civic hatchback gains Mugen accessories

Japanese tuner Mugen has unveiled its offer of accessories for the 12th-gen Honda Civic hatchback.

Thanks to the renowned Honda fashionista, the car has been transformed into something very different from stock and much sportier, at that. Additions included a uniquely shaped front spoiler lip, extended side sills, a lower rear spoiler, and a modest-sized tailgate wing.

Numerous smaller touches help round off the new style, including a faux-carbon radiator grille insert, silver accents below the headlights, and stylish black mirror caps at the sides.

Also listed on the Mugen website are a new exhaust system, a high-performance oil filter, Type S brake discs and pads, and braided brake lines. The cabin stays stock, unless you are willing to mention branded kick plate covers and red mats.

The upgrades are only available in Japan so far, and new body kit finish options will be added in December (the current choice is unpainted or black).
