The Honda Civic will soon be getting a loaded ‘Si’ edition, which will be available as a road-legal car and a racer. The manufacturer has now shared pre-production photos of the latter.
The track-only Civic Si has been designed for the 25 Hours of Thunderhill, and rocks a large front splitter, a different hood, and a giant rear wing in the back.
Buyers of the road-worthy Civic Si may look forward to improved steering, braking, suspension and trim with a full package of electronic assists already included.
The previous-gen Civic Si pushed 208 PS (205 hp / 153 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. The new one may get better numbers, although it remains to be seen.
