A dealership in the U.S. state of Georgia is selling a, erm, unique replica of a Lamborghini Aventador based on a 2009 Honda Civic. There is some new bodywork, a few mods inside the cabin, but the layout and the powertrain stay stock. The veteran ride has 132,000 miles (212,500 km) on the odo, and the seller thinks it is worth $25,000.
Based on the photos, the front and rear end are both redesigned, there are bulky side extensions, new door hinges for them to swing upwards when opened, and wider wheels. It looks like the new bodywork might have been fabricated specifically for this car, and this car alone. It is another matter that the result looks all kinds of weird.
Seats inside sport Lamborghini badges, and there is another logo on the steering wheel, but the dash panel and the rest stays largely stock. The same applies to the engine: a front-mounted 1.8-liter mill connected to a five-speed automatic transmission and capable of 140 PS (138 hp / 103 kW).
Honestly, we would be interested to know if there is someone in the wide world mentally prepared to fork over twenty-five grand for this.
