A 2000 Honda Civic like no other is up for grabs in the state of Arkansas, USA right now. Its owner has shrunk the car to nearly a half of its original length and modified the wheelbase accordingly. The Drive says he is willing to part with his creation for $800 and will consider further offers.
In its current form, the Civic resembles a reverse trike more than anything – the two front wheels are driven, while the two rear ones are passive and grouped in the middle. The axle resides about as close to the seats as physically possible, and the rear suspension is completely new (you can see it in the pic above). A modest-sized gas tank sits on a platform above the wheels.
The seller claims he used to drive his car on a daily basis, but it seems to have been a long time ago – note the corrosion on the rear suspension, the taillights barely holding on and the interior looking like it has seen better days (decades, perhaps). Surprisingly enough, it still starts and can be driven on roads.
