Carwow has pitted an all-wheel-drive Honda Civic estate up against an Audi RS 5 in a number of drag races. The Civic had received a tune-up to 834 PS (823 hp / 613 kW) from Bisimoto to keep things exciting.
Bisimoto replaced the stock 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine rated barely above 100 horsepower with a 2.4-liter turbo mill linked to all four wheels through a five-speed sequential gearbox.
In turn, the RS 5 was left with its usual 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 good for 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW), Tiptronic eight-speed A/T and Quattro AWD.
You may be tempted to think that the stronger, lighter Civic has all it takes to win the race, but… Watch the video, you’ll be surprised.
