Japanese car manufacturer Honda has taken the wraps off the latest-generation Civic, a legendary sedan/coupe series which will be released in the USA first.
The exterior of the 2019 Honda Civic has been thoroughly redesigned. The radiator grille, both bumpers, the lighting and the wheels have all been overhauled. The rear wing is glossy black in the next version.
There is also a new trim level, called Sport. It comes with additional glossy finish on the front and sides, originally-designed exhaust pipes and large, 18-inch wheels.
The car ships with Display Audio, an infotainment system with smartphone control support.
The hood cover conceals a 2.0-liter VTEC engine partnered with an IVT box.
Last but not least, the trademark Honda Sensing safety package has become a standard feature in all trim levels. This means that even the cheapest variant of the car gets AEB, lane control and adaptive cruise control.
Prices haven’t been announced so far. The previous generation of Civic sold for U.S. $18,950 (sedan models) and $19,350 (coupe models).
