YouTuber Sam CarLegion has brought three hot hatchbacks to the quarter-mile strip: a Honda Civic Type R went up against a Subaru WRX and a Toyota GR Corolla. All three cars are manual, but the engines are different.
The Subaru WRX utilizes a 2.4-liter flat-four turbo engine to drive all four wheels with 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW).
In turn, the Honda Civic Type R uses a 2.0T engine and gets a superior 320 PS (316 hp / 235 kW) out of it, but all the torque goes to the front axle.
Finally, the Toyota GR Corolla makes do with a petite 1.6T mill, but it is by no means an outsider with 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) under its command and all-wheel drive.
