Honda CR-V reveals its secrets on spy photos

The next-gen Honda CR-V first cropped up on spy pics in early March this year, but those were low-quality images, while these fresh ones made in Germany look much nicer.

Despite the camo, it appears obvious that the car, along with its entire body kit and lights, has already been finalized for production. The disguised stripe between the headlights could be chromed, and sitting below it is a large hexagonal radiator grille with a bulky Honda logo in the middle.

The hood looks wider than in the current generation (see video), and the mirrors are now door-mounted. Other than that, the new CR-V appears larger than its predecessor and more mature in terms of design.

Note that, while the test vehicle had five seats, Honda may want to launch a seven-seater version in the USA next year. Such a CR-V already exists in some markets, and it should be viable in North America as well.

The premiere is expected in 2022.
