To celebrate the approaching International April Fools’ Day, Honda has come forth with an announcement of a highly authentic convertible CR-V. Perhaps more on the point, they hacked the roof clean off the fourth-generation Honda CR-V crossover and called it a day.
According to an official spokesman of the brand, the vehicle was designed especially for the Southern countries and regions where a closed-body car would be too hot to sit in. Unfortunately, the manufacturer still has to address the newly discovered steerability issue. Apparently, without its roof in place, the car body rigidness approaches zero, and it just begins wobbling about uncontrollably.
The company has decided to announce the price of the new car straight away. Predictably enough, it is going to cost exactly 50 percent of what the original Honda CR-V costs – after all, you do buy half a vehicle…
