Honda Motor Company has demonstrated Honda Everus EV, an all-electric concept SUV built on the HR-V platform, at the Auto China 2018. The vehicle should reach the market in 2019.
Despite being based on the Honda HR-V, the front part of the vehicle is largely different, sporting redesigned lights, bumper, radiator grille and headlight housings.
Production will begin on the Guangzhou Automobile Group facilities in China later this year. Specifications and the engine lineup remain unknown at the moment. Apart from Chinese dealerships, new vehicles will also be distributed among Reachstar car sharing stations.
The first all-electric Honda Everus EV will reach Europe in 2019. It will feature a design inspired by the Urban EV Concept demonstrated at the latest Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.
