Honda is getting ready to introduce the next generation of the CR-V in the United States, and here are a couple of images to keep us excited.
It looks like the U.S. spec of the crossover sports a different front end design compared to its Chinese counterpart. In a short message accompanying the announcement, the company describes the vehicle as ‘rugged’ and ‘refined’, adding that it now has more cabin real estate than ever before. The latter is indirectly confirmed by patent data from the Ministry of Industry and IT of China: the car has larger dimensions and wheelbase than its predecessor.
According to Honda, the new CR-V makes use of a more efficient hybrid powertrain. The current version generates around 215 PS (212 hp / 158 kW).
