The new Honda CR-V crossover is already being assembled in Canada, with factories in the U.S. States of Ohio and Indiana scheduled to fire up their production lines soon, too.
The automaker explains that it has to use multiple production sites this time around due to the sheer size of the market. In the United States in 2021 alone, the CR-V sold over 360,000 units.
The offer will be limited to gasoline engines at first, but hybrids are slated to go into production next month. A while later, production will start in China and Japan.
