The all-electric compact car Honda e will go on sale on October 30, 2020, priced at 4.51 million Japanese Yen domestically (ca. $42,500 USD).
The urban compact has a single rear-mounted electric motor that drives the rear axle with either 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW) or 154 PS (152 hp / 113 kW). The driving range lies in the 259-283 km range (161 – 176 miles). The automaker plans to sell only 1,000 units in the launch year.
The Honda e utilizes a brand-new electric vehicle architecture and made its first public appearance as a production car at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show.
