Honda’s SUV e:prototype revealed at the ongoing Shanghai trade fair will become an electric production car next spring. It will be one of the Japanese marque’s 10 EVs designed exclusively for China.
The exterior of the vehicle gives us third-gen HR-V vibes: watch the video for a quick comparison with the crossover that came out a few months ago. The main difference is in the LED lights, with the concept boasting plenty of additional lighting mounted under the hood rim, on the side sills, on the front bumper, and even behind the badge.
The cabin remains a mystery, as does the powertrain. It is official, however, that the production car will take advantage of a third-gen Honda Connect package with such features as voice recognition, online shopping, and OTA updates.
