Japanese car manufacturer Honda has unveiled the facelifted HR-V crossover series meant for the European market. The car is already in production and should go on sale by October 2018.
The updated SUV comes with a redesigned radiator grille, reshaped lights and new 17-inch wheels. Customers will be able to choose from 8 body color options.
On the inside, the vehicle has an advanced audio system and new seats, as well as improved noise proofing.
The European variant of Honda HR-V will ship with a turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 130 hp (97 kW), available with either manual or automatic transmission. The SUV accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in about 11 seconds.
The Honda HR-V family will be getting two high-end engines next year, a 1.5L VTEC gasoline engine and a 1.6L diesel one. Their performance remains undisclosed.
Prices will be available later.
