Honda will be introducing the next-gen HR-V in North America in late 2022, so here are a few early pre-production sketches to keep us excited.
The images are official, but the design may (and probably will) change a lot before the launch. Starting at the front, the front fascia has a more aggressive styling with an octagonal radiator grille and an S-shaped pattern. The lower grille becomes larger and gets a different mesh pattern, too.
Moving on to the back, the c-pillars are now more sharply inclined. The taillights sport smoother lines and fewer edges. The rear bumper has been updated slightly with reflectors mounted higher up and a body-matching skirt below.
The North American version of the HR-V will be different from the international spec, the company said in early 2021. All that is left is to to wait several months to learn the details.
