The Japanese car maker Honda has scheduled an official premiere of its latest hybrid sedan prototype named Insight at the International Motor Show in Detroit, U.S.A. in January 2018. The mass-produced version of this concept is due next summer.
It should be noted that Honda already has a car model named Insight, which is a hatchback.
Based on the photos revealed, the Honda Insight Prototype has a design which is mainly modern and stylish, but stays faithful to the brand traditions. According to a representative of the automotive company, the car will be released with a slew of new features and accessories, and will offer excellent steering experience more common among premium-class vehicles.
Speaking of the engine of the new Honda Insight, it is said to be a modern, highly fuel-efficient hybrid unit which meets all current industry standards. Alas, no technical specifications are provided at this date.
