Japanese tuner makes a Honda Kei van look like the new Defender

Coming in at only 3.4 meters (11.15 feet) long with 2.5 meters (8.27 feet) between the axles, the meek Honda N-Van is neither sporty nor an off-road monster. Luckily, that doesn’t mean you cannot at least make it look the part.

This is exactly what ESB Style did with its ‘Dafunder’ styling package. There are new bumpers at both ends, a different grille, easily recognizable head- and taillights and even a skid plate at the rear end, which is obviously fake and not made from real aluminum despite its looks.

Ever willing to walk the extra mile, ESB Style also lifted the suspension by around 25 mm (1”) and put new 14-inch steel rims wrapped in off-road tires inside the arches. The result may not be something you can mistake for the Defender, but it looks cool and executed in a clean fashion, nonetheless.

Power for the Kei van still comes from its original 0.66L turbo rated at 64 PS (63 hp / 47 kW) and 104 Nm (77 lb-ft) of torque. You can choose between FWD and AWD.

Going for the full styling kit including the wheels will set you back ¥194,000 in Japan, which translates into just under 1,500 USD.
