Liberty Walk slams the Honda NSX (NA1) into the ground

The famous Japanese tuner has tackled Honda NSX (NA1), the iconic mid-engine sports car from the early 1990s (NA1). Is it much different from the other LW works?

Not much, really. In fact, hardly at all. There is the same over-the-top body kit with extreme cutout fenders, the same racecar styling, the usual forged rims, and the mandatory ‘slammed’ stance. This is not to say that the body kit isn’t stylish; on the contrary, the massive front spoiler, the bulky sides and the especially tall rear wing all look quite good. Then there is a badass rear diffuser with ‘blue-burnt’ Fi Exhaust tips at both sides.

The one-off rides on AirRex suspension kit and Advan Racing rims. Inside, the bucket seats stem from BRIDE, and the gear stick is made of aluminum.

Overall, the project is quite an eye-catcher, but there is a major downside to it. The NA1 Honda NSX is a rare and expensive collector’s car that is most valued in its stock form. Irreversible body mods, such as the cutout wheel arches and the new mounting points, drop its value dramatically and make reselling a hard task. Let’s just hope the current owner of the car doesn’t get bored with it anytime soon…
