The latest generation of the Honda Odyssey minivan and wagon has been on sale in North America for three years now, and the refreshed lineup is coming up soon.
The 2020 Honda Odyssey facelift should debut at the New York International Auto Show scheduled for next month, unless the Covid-2019 pandemic prevents the tradeshow from happening. Based on the teaser pics available so far, it will get a redesigned radiator grille with a chrome strip up top, LED headlights, a different front bumper, and 19-inch wheels.
Inside, there is a new HVAC, backlit USB ports, extended trim options, and a special warning system to alert the driver about children or animals accidentally left inside the car.
Among other things, the new Odyssey will ship with a wide range of security features combined under the Honda Sensing banner. This includes emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and other useful driver aids.
The update will not extend as far as the powertrain, with the old 3.5-liter, non-turbo V6 still churning out 284 hp (212 kW) to the old ten-speed automatic transmission.
