Honda Passport gets updated, spawns TrailSport Edition

The 2022 Honda Passport facelift is here along with a new off-road-friendly edition called TrailSport. Sales in the United States will begin in winter.

Compared to the stock Passport, the TrailSport takes advantage of a marginally wider (+10 mm / +0.4”) track, 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, special badges, and i-VTM4 intelligent AWD already included in the base spec.

The 3.5-liter V6 stays stock, producing 284 PS (280 hp / 209 kW) and 355 Nm (262 lb-ft) of torque in tandem with a nine-speed automatic transmission. A suspension upgrade has also been announced for future versions, but the current one makes do with the standard suspension.

In turn, the regular 2022 Honda Passport gains an option package called HPD, which includes a new radiator grille, black fender flares, decals, and different wheels. LED lighting, keyless entry, an 8-inch infotainment display and a number of electronic assists are now considered standard equipment.
