Honda reveals the 2024 Passport TrailSport

Honda has decided to brush up the TrailSport version of its Passport SUV for the next model year. The sales will start in a few months.

The most important novelty is the suspension: the sway bars, the springs and the shock absorbers are all new and better suited for heavy off-roading, the manufacturer says. The ground clearance has been increased to 206 mm (8 inches).

Some revisions have been made to the interior, too. The box under the armrest is more spacious than before, and the wireless charger now supports charging two phones at once.

Elsewhere, the 2024 Passport TrailSport rides on new wheels shod in grippy off-road tires and benefits from improved skid plates (it’s a paid option). Things stay unchanged in the powertrain department, though, where a 3.5-liter V6 still churns out its usual 284 PS (280 hp / 209 kW) and 355 Nm (262 lb-ft) of torque. The drive is on all four wheels.
