Honda has attended this year’s Japan Mobility Show with a concept car called Prelude, saying that it could reach production later. CarsGuide has now obtained a more specific estimate for the launch date.
Quoting the Chief Engineer of Honda Motor Co., the publication claims that the Prelude is already being developed for mass-market release. It is scheduled to go on sale ‘sometime in 2025’, although this may change later on.
Another interesting detail disclosed in the interview is that the Prelude is being designed as an international model with left- and right-hand-drive variants for the different markets. Last but not least, it is official that it will run primarily on hybrid power, but the details remain unknown.
