The Japanese automaker has supplied new details about its electric SUV Prologue coming up in 2024. The starting price in the USA will be close to $40,000, and the buyers will get a choice between FWD and AWD.
In its top trim named Elite, the Prologue will ship with 21-inch wheels, marking the first time in history that Honda put wheels as large as that on a production car. Further features include a heads-up display, a panoramic glass roof and a high-end, 12-channel Bose audio system.
The model is based on the same Ultium platform as the Chevrolet Blazer EV and the Cadillac Lyriq. An 85-kWh traction battery gives it 482 km (300 miles) of range according to the strict EPA standard. The all-wheel-drive version enjoys 292 PS (288 hp / 215 kW) and 452 Nm (333 lb-ft) of torque. Just 10 minutes spent at a 155kW charging station can replenish enough charge for another 105 km (65 miles) of range.
