Honda has unveiled the 2020 model year version of its Ridgeline pickup truck. The exterior stays the same, but the tech moves on with the times.
First and foremost, the truck ditches its old six-speed automatic transmission in favor of a new nine-speed one. As a consequence, the old gear selector gets replaced with a new button panel.
The basic trim version now offers an updated infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen display and Apple Car Play / Android Auto support (previously reserved for the higher trims). The Honda Sensing safety aids are also included in all trims now.
The 2020 Ridgeline still holds the old 3.5 V6 with its 284 hp (212 kW) under the hood and still features a lockable trunk area concealed in the rear overhang.
Sales in the United States will begin in a few days, with prices starting from $33,900.
