The automaker will be discontinuing its S660 Kei car model in Japan in a year’s time, and will be issuing a farewell series called “Modulo X Version Z Edition”.
The mini-roadster will debut with special trim pieces, an exclusive paintjob, a black active spoiler, a red soft top, and staggered wheels (15” front, 16” rear).
Read leather upholstery inside will be juxtaposed against black décor and naked carbon fiber. Buyers will get a gift bag with their purchase.
Powering the Kei vehicle is a 0.66-liter engine rated at 64 PS (64 hp / 48 kW), which supports six-speed manual and CVT for transmission.
Prices in Japan will start from 3,150,400 Yen, as opposed to 2,321,000 Yen for the standard S660.
Honda provides no explanation as to why it decided to ditch a model that only debuted six years ago.
