2nd-gen Honda WR-V breaks cover in Indonesia

Honda has a crossover version of its Fit/Jazz bestseller known as the WR-V in South American and Asian countries. The car is now transitioning into its second generation.

The new WR-V sports an original body styled similarly to the latest HR-V. The platform stays the same, but the ground clearance rises to 220 mm (8.6 inches). In its most basic form, the crossover rides on 16-inch rollers and has halogen headlights. Paying extra for the RS version gets you modern LEDs instead.

The tech stays unchanged from the first generation. Like before, you can go with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine rated at 121 PS (120 hp / 90 kW) and a CVT box, but five-speed manual is also an option. A multimedia unit, four airbags, an air conditioner and a reversing camera are included in the main spec. The options are plentiful.

In Indonesia, the new WR-V starts from the equivalent of U.S. $17,400.
