The all-electric Hongqi E-HS9 has made its first appearance on city roads in China several days after its official reveal.
The marque’s flagship sports an enormous radiator grille designed by Jiles Taylor, ex-Designer at Rolls-Royce, so the obvious semblance is not coincidental.
Inside, the seats sport natural leather finish, and the dashboard has precious wood and aluminum inserts. A single oversized LED display simultaneously serves as a dashboard and multimedia screen.
The road is hit with 550 horsepower (410 kilowatts) of power coming from dual electric motors sourcing their electricity from a 92.4-kWh battery. The sprint takes four seconds, and the driving range is reported at 500 km (310 miles).
