Premium vehicle manufacturer Hongqi has shared some photos of the facelifted H9, its flagship saloon. AutoHome reports citing its own sources that the powertrains have been revised along with the looks, but the pricing details are unknown.
Compared to the pre-facelift version (see video), the new H9 has different-looking headlights and DRLs, as well as a somewhat slimmer radiator grille. The bumpers have been subtly tweaked, too, with a faux diffuser at the rear end and twin tailpipes. Buyers also get to choose from a wider range of wheel options.
Powertrain-wise, the car will most likely continue to rely on its usual 1.8-liter and 3.0-liter turbos. The former is expected to stay the same with 224 PS (221 hp / 165 kW), while the latter should get a boost from its usual 283 PS (279 hp / 208 kW) to 337 PS (332 hp / 248 kW). At least, this is what AutoHome believes.
A middle-ground option is also rumored to be coming in the form of a 2.5-liter V6 rated at 303 PS (299 hp / 223 kW). Last but not least, AutoHome says Hongqi has also registered the new H9 with an unspecified 2.0-liter turbo engine. Whether it will actually be offered or not and with what specifications remains to be seen.
