Human Horizons unveils a battery-powered seven-seat SUV

Human Horizons has attended the Shanghai Auto Show with an all-electric crossover SUV named HiPhi Y. The model will ship with two powertrains and two batteries to choose from, the largest one offering 810 km (503 miles) of CLTC range.

The SUV is 4,938 mm long with 2,950 mm separating the axles. It is nominally a seven-door car with five traditional door and two pop-up hatches on the roof.

Inside, the attention is drawn to multiple large displays. HH says the second row can be specced with a bench seat or two separate seats.

In its most basic form, the HiPhi Y is envisioned with a single e-motor rated at 336 PS (331 hp / 247 kW). The top spec utilizes dual motors and has 504 PS (497 hp / 371 kW). The battery can be either 76.6 or 115 kWh large. The driving range can amount to 560, 765 or 810 kilometers depending on your chosen drivetrain version (348, 475 or 503 miles, respectively).
