In June, car tuner Mil-Spec Automotive introduced the first in a series of twelve restored and modified Hummer H1 off-roaders. The car went by the name of Launch Edition 001. #002 and #003 followed soon, and today, the time has finally come for us to see the Number Four.
Speaking of which, the Launch Edition 004 is virtually identical to its predecessors. There is the same front bumper with large air intakes, the same rear rack with a spare wheel housing, extended wheel arches and a winch. The novelty comes in the form of new body lacquering (“Desert Tan”), LED lighting throughout, new wheels and humongous 40-inch tires.
The Mil-Spec team has also reworked the suspension, but left the interior with the same options that came with the No. 2 and 3: leather and aluminum trimming, a Momo racing wheel, and separate back seats.
