Exotic Hummer H1 two-door pickup is underway to auction

An auction will soon be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, dedicated to a first-generation Hummer H1 off-roader with the body of a pickup truck. The seller claims that it is one out of 1,432 examples made in 1995 and only one out of 91 trimmed to the XLC2 spec (see video).

The vehicle – which is expected to sell between $60,000 and $75,000 – has a red exterior with black bumpers and light-hued leather in the cabin. It features portal axles and off-road tires with auto pressure control. Power is sourced from a 6.5-liter V8 diesel rated at 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW) and 393 Nm (290 lb-ft) of torque. A four-speed automatic transmission sends the torque to both axles.

The owner specced the truck with two extra fuel tanks in the bed, heavy-duty bumpers and a towing hook.

Based on the photos, the H1 is in excellent condition with less than 29,000 km (18,000 miles) under its belt, despite being 27 years old.
