Three years ago, Hyundai came to the 2015 Detroit Motor Show with its first-ever pickup truck concept named Santa Cruz. According to the media, the South Korean car manufacturer has finally settled on its final design and is currently preparing to launch the production.
It is still unclear just when the first cars will roll into showrooms, but everything indicates that it might happen in 2020. We also don’t know what kind of competition the Hyundai Santa Cruz will be up against once it hits the market. In our opinion, the Ford Ranger and the larger Ford F-150 are both likely candidates.
According to an earlier announcement, the truck will get the Tucson chassis and will be assembled in the USA.
