South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has posted some initial sketches showing its smallest SUV to date, the Venue. The car will be featured at the 2019 New York International Auto Show.
Judging by the teaser images, the front part of the Hyundai Venue looks similar to those of the Kona and Santa Fe models.
Inside, a large, tablet-like infotainment touchscreen display surrounded by air blowers left and right immediately draws the attention. A number of round control knobs sit directly below the screen.
Moving on to the features, the top trim will ship with a panoramic glass roof and ventilated front seats (available for the first time in this vehicle class). Electronic driver aids will include AEB, blind spot monitor, and hill start assist.
Rumor has it that the car will be available with gasoline and diesel engines 1.4 liters large and connected to manual transmissions, as well as a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo engine paired with a seven-speed DCT.
The Hyundai Venue should arrive in the showrooms by mid-2019.
