An engineering business by the name of Mobis is going to start shipping electric powertrain solutions to its old partner, Hyundai Group, as well as a number of other, undisclosed automakers throughout the world.
In essence, Mobis is a Hyundai subsidiary that shares its shareholder base and ships its products almost exclusively to the Hyundai-KIA Group.
The company voiced assurance that the strategic decision to supply competing automotive brands with EV components would enable it to bolster production volumes and ultimately slash EV prices across the entire market.
