Hyundai has begun testing the production version of its 45 Concept on the Nürburgring Circuit in Germany. The car should debut sometime in 2021.
Witnesses report this isn’t the first time the Hyundai 45 hits the racetrack for a series of speed tests. Judging by the photos, the model sticks to the road quite reliably and passes corners with ease.
Despite the thick test mule camo, the vehicle looks just like its predecessor revealed at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show (see video). Its side cameras, sliding doors and pixelated headlamps will most likely be ditched underway to production.
The car comes based on a platform known as Hyundai Electric-Global; nothing is being revealed about its powertrain specs so far.
