The South Korean automotive brand Hyundai has revealed detailed information concerning its first all-electric crossover SUV. The new Hyundai Kona Electric will debut before the wide audience at the Geneva International Motor show in Switzerland on March 8 through 18, 2018.
In contrast to its fossil fuel-powered counterparts, the new Hyundai Kona Electric comes with a newly designed radiator grille and its own 17” wheels. The inside of the car houses a digital dashboard, a modern infotainment center with a large touchscreen, and an up-to-date sound system. According to the manufacturer, it also comes with numerous electronic features for added passenger and driver safety.
The engine lineup of the new Hyundai Kona Electric will include two options: 135 hp and 204 hp. The former is said to have a driving range of up to 300 kilometers (~185 miles), while the latter should be able to travel as far as 470 km (292 mi) prior to needing a recharge.
Prices aren’t being disclosed at the moment.
