Speaking at an investor meeting, Hyundai execs revealed their plans on switching cars to the Android Automotive OS.
Rather than choosing individual Google services to install, the Korean automaker goes for a full integration. This includes access to all major Google services in all newly produced Genesis, Hyundai and Kia vehicles, including the numerous apps, AI-powered voice recognition, and Google Maps navigation.
The first Hyundai cars with Android-based infotainment systems are slated to arrive in 2026.
