The South Korean car giant Hyundai has come to the Beijing Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2018) with a new conceptual vehicle it calls Hyundai Lafesta. The car should eventually get released in China.
The exterior design of the car makes one remember the Hyundai Le Fil Rouge Concept, which debuted at the latest Geneva International Motor Show. Being 4,660 mm (15.2 ft.) long with a 2,700 mm (8.8 ft.) wide wheelbase, it most likely uses the Elantra car platform.
The Hyundai Lafesta will ship with a choice between a 1.4-liter turbo engine and a larger 1.6-liter engine, either coupled with a seven-speed DCT. Their performance remains undisclosed at the moment.
The car should reach the market in China before the end of the year. Prices will be announced separately.
