South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has come to the Comic-Con in San-Diego with an Iron Man Edition of its KONA crossover. The company teamed up with Marvel on this limited-edition series.
The vehicle is painted matte grey with occasional red accents, mimicking the robotized suit of its movie prototype.
On the outside, the Kona Iron Man Edition wears a hexagonal radiator grille, narrow headlights, exclusive daytime running lights, mask pictures on the fenders, a new front bumper and a hood cover with an embossed pattern. The whole SUV looks like the Iron Man’s helmet with eyes peering through it.
The interior is maintained in the same style, with a projected heads-up display, an instrument panel and a gear shifter following the same theme. There is even a Tony Stark’s signature on the dashboard.
The Hyundai Kona Iron Man Edition will be issued in a small series, but the exact amount remains undisclosed. The assembly will begin before the end of the year, with first cars rolling into dealerships in early 2019.
