Hyundai introduces Alcazar seven-seater SUV for India

Despite Hyundai’s earlier claims about its dedication to the MPV market, the company seems to understand perfectly where the money is at nowadays; the new Alcazar SUV for India proves that.

The car uses the local Creta spec as a starting point, stretching its wheelbase to accommodate six or seven seats. The doors, hood and front fenders are the same, while the radiator grille, rear window, taillights, and off-road kit are new.

The base trim level features a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, a panoramic roof, a wireless charger, an HVAC, a digital dashboard, and 360-degree view cameras.

Powering the family-friendly crossover is a 2.0-liter gasoline engine capable of 157 PS (155 hp / 115 kW) and 192 Nm (142 lb-ft) of torque. There’s also a 1.5-liter turbo diesel with 113 PS (111 hp / 83 kW) and 250 Nm (183 lb-ft). Both support six-speed manual and automatic transmission types.
