Hyundai updates the Grand i10 and Aura for India

Hyundai has simultaneously presented the facelifted Aura sedan and Grand i10 Nios hatchback in India. The two models are closely related and even looked largely identical before the refresh, but this changes now with the introduction of distinct grilles, DRLs and bumpers.

The hatchback also sports new taillights, which are LED-based by default; the sedan keeps its old lights instead. Elsewhere, the dash gauges and seat trim are new, as are 15-inch alloys.

The trim levels have been revised, too. In their most basic form, both cars now pack four airbags instead of just two and gain access to such nice options as cruise control, ESP, tire pressure monitoring and others.

For the engine, you are pretty much stranded with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated mill rated between 69 PS (68 hp / 51 kW) and 83 PS (82 hp / 61 kW) depending on the grade of the fuel used. The transmission can be either five-speed manual or semi-automatic.
