Hyundai Casper spawns a cargo van version

Initially introduced as a subcompact crossover SUV in September 2021, the Hyundai Casper is now available as an LCV as well. Let us have a look.

The rear bench goes away, freeing up cargo space for 940 liters (33.2 cubic feet) total. At under 3.6 meters (140 inches) long, the tiny car should have no issue maneuvering and parking. Rear windows are reinforced with bars to avoid accidental damage. Hyundai says the new Casper will be useful to businesses with stores near the city center, where deliveries are usually challenging to make.

The Casper Van is available with a 1.0-liter petrol engine rated at 76 PS (75 hp / 56 kW), but you can opt for a more powerful version with 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW). The transmission is automatic in both cases. Prices start from $11,400.
