At the ongoing international motor show in Shanghai, China, Hyundai has revealed the next generation of its ix25 SUV, also known as the Creta in some markets.
The updated vehicle is marginally larger than its predecessor: 30mm / 1,2” longer, 10mm / 0.4” wider and has a 20mm / 0.4” longer wheelbase. You may tell it from the previous model by the added under shields and the Kona-style two-section headlights.
The interior of the new Hyundai ix25 now offers an electronic parking brake, a new gear selector, and a vertical multimedia screen similar to what Tesla cars comes with. There is also a Terrain Mode button on its center console, testifying that the car is prepared for an occasional off-road trip.
In an earlier press release, Hyundai said it wanted to complement the Creta/ix25 family with a seven-seat SUV.
